Programme Overview

This TVEC-accredited Level 5 Diploma in Information Technology (IT) course is designed as a strong foundation in IT and as a structured academic and career pathway. The programme typically represents the first year of study and enables students, through GISM’s articulation agreement, to progress directly to the second year of a related Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Information Science at Massey University, New Zealand. By completing the initial year in Sri Lanka and continuing their degree in New Zealand, students can save both time and cost while gaining an internationally recognised qualification.

Entry Requirements

• Three C passes at G.C.E A/L or successful completion of the GISM International Foundation in IT Programme with required grades, plus an interview.

Progression

Successful completion allows direct entry to Year 2 of the Bachelor of Information Technology or Bachelor of Information Science programmes at Massey University, New Zealand.
