Bachelor of Agribusiness in Farm Management

Programme Overview

Agribusiness is a rapidly growing field in agricultural industry convolved with emerging technologies in response to increasing consumer demand around the world. With the increase in world population, there is a significant demand for products in agriculture and livestock industry.

Through the Bachelor of Agribusiness Degree pathway, you can complete this diploma in Sri Lanka and study the rest of the years at Massey University in New Zealand. This qualification provides students with the opportunity to meet the needs of crop science and livestock with advanced technical expertise and research skills to work in the relevant industry or, continue further studies in postgraduate level. You will also be able to develop skills and knowledge in Accounts, Finance, Marketing, Bio-statistics, Chemical Biology, Horticulture and Agriculture areas. Students are fully equipped to engage in the rapidly changing field of Agribusiness and apply their expertise in interdisciplinary settings through this degree.

Entry Requirements

To enter the Bachelor of Agribusiness you have been awarded or qualified for:

  • Minimum three “C” passes at G.C.E (A/L) Examination or London (A/L) Examination, including Chemistry, Physics or Agriculture, Biology OR 
  • Minimum four “C” passes at G.C.E (A/L) Examination (Old Syllabus)
  • GISM Foundation Programme (Successfully completion with B average)
