Programme Overview

This choice is ideal if you are interested studying Construction Management so you can start your first year of a Construction Degree in Sri Lanka as a major of Construction leading to a world-class Construction Management Degree in New Zealand. Your qualification will be Bachelor of Construction with major Construction Management specialization offered by Massey University which is a very well recognized in industry.

According to Massey University information, “in this course you will learn how to contribute to client needs assessment and how to offer advice on resolving issues at the design stage. You’ll plan, schedule, and organize for implementation of new builds, refurbishments and conversions. You’ll learn how to make sure that things stay on track – financially, quality and time-wise and that you are meeting legal requirements. Core courses for construction management will teach you vital digital skills such as: Computer Aided Drawing (CAD), computer modelling of buildings (BIM, Augmented and Virtual Reality).

This course is ideal if you:

plan to work in construction industry , be a well successful self-employed person or develop your business in construction industry

Entry Requirements

Students must have a minimum of three “C” passes at G.C.E (A/L) Examination or London (A/L) Examination in Mathematics, Physics or any related stream of studies OR

GISM Foundation Programme (successfully completed with a grade “B” average) AND

All applicants must sit for a selection interview with the Head of the relevant division in Academic Faculty.
